Assistant Business Manager - Erie Office

Weber Murphy Fox is an established Design and Construction Management firm, currently seeking an Assistant Business Manager to join our Erie office. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years of accounting / finance / bookkeeping experience, and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. The position requires an excellent verbal and written communicator, problem solver and action-oriented team player. The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work well with individuals on all levels. WMF is a software oriented, paperless office. Candidate must be comfortable utilizing several different software packages.

Job Requirements / Duties:

  • Process, code, audit and facilitate payment of trade and consultant invoices
  • Prepare and submit semi-monthly payroll and associated taxes when needed (as backup to payroll admin)
  • Conduct or assist with onboarding of new employees
  • Assist in preparing year end 1099’s, W-2’s and any other associated tax forms
  • Coordinate purchase and maintenance of office equipment, company cell phones and supplies
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Generate monthly project invoices
  • Track and maintain insurance policies and certificates on monthly basis, reaching out to vendors before insurance expires for new COI
  • General administrative duties including filing, answering phones, mail, etc

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years accounting / finance / bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications with intermediate Work/Excel skills
  • Relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment (Design/Architecture/Construction background a plus!)
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems (Deltek products, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with exemplary verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

GRADUATE ARCHITECT - State College Office

Weber Murphy Fox is currently seeking a Graduate Architect with substantial Revit experience to work integrally with our project focused teams in our State College Office. Qualified candidates will provide support on a variety of projects from conceptualization through completion.

Landscape Architect - Erie and Cleveland Offices

Weber Murphy Fox is seeking a creative and energetic Landscape Architect to join our firm in our Erie or Cleveland office. This position will work on a variety of projects from conceptualization through completion. The ideal candidate must be motivated, articulate, have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working as part of a collaborative design team on all phases of a project from programming through construction administration
  • Support Architectural efforts in site design
  • Assist with the planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture and land development
  • Creation of schematic design materials from 3-D renderings to plans and elevations
  • Developing designs and oversight of producing construction documents for implementation
  • Managing multiple project schedules, client programs and budgets
  • Collaborate with WMF teammates to build and maintain client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or comparable field
  • Prior experience in a similar position preferred but not required
  • Experience with Revit preferred. Familiarity with software such as Enscape and Sketchup a plus!
  • An interest in creating integrated delivery projects
  • A strong desire to participate in the entire project delivery process as a member of the design and construction management team
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic. Professional licensure preferred.
